Pool Tag 's Now Available

Residents must be in good standing with all fees and Covenants of the Association in order to receive 2007 Pool Tags.

The Ashton Village HOA swimming pool has been opened for the season beginning Memorial day weekend.  Members of the Board of Directors volunteered their time to distribute the 2007 season pool tags at the Pool on Saturday May 19 and Saturday May 26 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.

 To Acquire Pool Tags After Saturday May 26:  Contact VanMor Properties (832-593-7300) after Tuesday May 29th between 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (closed for lunch 12:30 to 1:30 pm) to set up a time to pick up your tags.  A late fee of $5 will be charged.

If you are renting you will need to provide a copy of your lease contract.

Ø   If the outstanding amount is $25.00 or less, the balance may be paid at pool tag registration and the tags will be issued.

Ø   If the outstanding amount is more than $25.00, the homeowner must send or deliver their payment to the management office (VanMor Properties, 1505 Highway 6 South, Suite 110, Houston, TX 77077). Personal checks, money orders, or cashier checks only.

Ashton Village Pool Rules


1.) Swimming is only permitted when a lifeguard is present.  Lifeguards must be obeyed at all times.

2.) Admission to the pool is limited to members in good standing, their families and 3 guests per household.

3.) Only proper swimming apparel will be allowed in the pool; no shorts or cut-offs.

4.) Food, drinks, gum and tobacco products will be allowed in designated areas only.

5.) Please dispose of all trash in proper containers.

6.) There will be a ten (10) minute break every hour during which adults, eighteen and over, may use the pool.

7.) No child will be permitted to swim unaccompanied in the deep end unless they have passed a swim test to include: swimming one (1) length of the pool and treading water for 60 seconds.

8.) Floats and pool toys are only allowed in the shallow end and will be limited in use if conditions warrant.

9) No loud music around the pool/recreation areas

10.) No glass or breakable containers.

11.) No smoking in the Pool/Recreation areas.

12.) Only non-swimmers in the wading pool.

13.) No diving

14.) No dogs or other pets.

15.) No running or rough play.

16.) No ball playing.

17.) All pool users must shower before entering the pool.

18.) Children under 12 MUST be accompanied by an adult, eighteen and over, regardless of swimming ability.

19.) If lighting/thunder is seen/heard or a storm is in the area the pool area will be cleared. You will have to leave the pool or go to the area under the clubhouse but not in the pool office. Swimming may resume after 30 minutes has passed without the sighting of lighting or hearing thunder. This is the American Red Cross rule on procedures for pool safety during a storm.

Failure to adhere to any of the rules above or those posted at the pool may result in the revocation of swim privileges.
